The Sociedade de Turismo e Desenvolvimento Insular has confirmed that the Westin Resort Macau will be rebranded as Grand Coloane Beach Resort, effective 22 June 2014.

The new name highlights the hotel's distinctive signature as a lavish boutique resort on the beautiful shores of Coloane Island overlooking the Hac Sa Wan (also known as Hac Sa Beach) and the South China Sea.

The resort is an eight-storey complex terracing up a mountainside, adjacent to Hac Sa Beach and the 18 holes Macau Golf & Country Club.

The resort offers 208 rooms and suites, each of which opens to a private and spacious terrace with an uninterrupted picturesque view of the beach.

After expiration of its existing hotel license agreement, the resort will be rebranded as the Grand Coloane Beach Resort.

The hotel is less than 15 minutes drive from downtown Macau.
