Cebu Pacific Takes Delivery of 52nd Aircraft

Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its 52nd aircraft, a brand-new Airbus A320 with Sharklets.

The brand new Airbus A320 will be used to increase frequencies on key routes during the holiday peak travel period.

“We are glad to take delivery of another brand-new Airbus A320 with Sharklets. Today, Cebu Pacific operates one of the youngest aircraft fleets in the world with an average age of 4.28 years. This latest order allows us to meet our fleet expansion requirements and to meet growing demand in the markets we serve,” said Atty. Jorenz Tañada, Cebu Pacific VP for Corporate Affairs.

Cebu Pacific will increase flight frequencies to 9 domestic and 3 international routes during the peak season.

Among the routes that the airline will mount additional twice weekly flights to include Manila-Cebu and Manila-Tuguegarao routes, thrice weekly flights for the Manila-Dumaguete route, and four times weekly flights for the Manila-Zamboanga route beginning 15 December 2014.
