Regent Appoints Dexter Chia as Global Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Regent Hotels & Resorts has appointed Dexter Chia as Global Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Chia will focus on sales and marketing strategies for Regent’s current and upcoming pipeline of new hotels, as well as branding and communications.

Chia has more than 25 years of hotel sales and marketing experience, with his most recent position being Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Rosewood Hotel Group where he was responsible for implementing improvements to sales performance, strategic positioning and branding.

Previously, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at InterContinental Hotels Group, he implemented key strategies to maximize hotel performance in greater China.

Chia has also held senior leadership positions with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts.

Originally from Singapore, Chia holds diplomas from the Les Roches International Hotel Management School in Switzerland and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
