The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has completed the renovation of its Grande and Premier Rooms.

The renovation is the first of two phases which later will also see the hotels Luxury rooms and Luxury suites undergo a renovation.

Each beautiful room is the work of talented Australian designer, Diana Simpson, and has been furnished and decorated in a contemporary Thai style that draws from a palette of richly colored woods, marble, and gold and pastel tones to create a relaxed, sophisticated personal space.

The interiors are further enriched by furnishing and dcor imported from Italy and America, fabrics and upholstery from India and Sri Lanka, gold colored headboards printed with authentic Thai decorative motifs, and engaging local artworks and antiques.

Additional enhancements to the fresh new look include dark wenge finishing to the timber, walk-in closets, spacious bathrooms, new sheer colored drapes from the Saint Moritz Sati collection, and carpets.

In keeping with the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvits commitment to reducing energy use for a more sustainable future, all standard lights have been replaced with high efficiency LED lighting.

Guests of the 45 square-metre Grande Rooms will be able to enjoy the signature Luxury Collection bed, dressed in 300 thread count cotton sheets and topped with a lightweight duvet, and plump feather pillows or soft hypoallergenic pillows. The marble floored bathroom features a generous vanity area, separate bathtub and a large shower with Thai bathroom toiletries by Thann. The Grande Rooms feature a 40 flat screen Samsung LED TV with an IPTV option, a dedicated media hub with HDMi, Bluetooth and a USB port, and 60 mbps high-speed internet access with seamless connectivity for up to three devices.

Each of the 45 square-meter Premier Rooms feature a large window that boasts a panoramic view of Lake Ratchada or Bangkoks glittering skyline. The rooms have opulent interiors with artful and indigenous design accents, dark wood furnishings and the worldly Luxury Collection bed for an indulgent nights sleep. The upholstered sofa chair and ottoman creates an inviting reading corner opposite a spacious work desk, conveniently equipped with wired and wireless high-speed internet access. Generous and inviting bathrooms with a bathtub and shower also provide natural body care amenities from Thann. Premier Room guests will also benefit from complimentary broadband and wireless 60 mbps high-speed internet access.
