Archipelago International has opened a new favehotel in Rembang, Indonesia.

Rembang sits in the northeastern part of Indonesia's province of Central Java, about 160km northwest of Surabaya.

With a large multi ethnic mostly Javanese, Madurese and Chinese population, the city is both bustling and full of multicultural customs. A beach, port and a number of government buildings are all within easy reach of the hotel.

The 102-room favehotel Rembang offers a signature Lime Coffee Shop, several functional meeting rooms including a ballroom with capacity up to 700 pax , a swimming pool, gym and spa blending functionality with affordability. WiFi is complimentary to guests, throughout the hotel.

“Rembang is unlike like most cities in Indonesia. It is a city that is yet to be discovered by many tourists, but it is bustling with business opportunities, cultural sites and impressive beaches for that all-important downtime. Just like our other favehotel properties, the chic-but-cheap concept of favehotel Rembang will be a new breed of hotel for Rembang, and we are confident it will aid in enticing more business and leisure travelers to this up and coming area,” said John Flood, Archipelago International's President & CEO.
