Moevenpick to Open 50-Room Resort on Koh Samui, Thailand

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts will next month open a hotel on Koh Samui in southern Thailand.

Mövenpick Resort Laem Yai Beach Samui will feature 50 rooms, a beachfront restaurant serving international cuisine, three outdoor pools and an Asian herbal spa.

Located on the northwest coast of Koh Samui, just steps from Laem Yai beach, the resort overlooks the islands of Angthong National Marine Park.

All accommodation is on ground level and each room and villa offers a private terrace, complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, rainforest shower and flat screen TV.

Guests can refuel with nourishing local and international specialties at The Terrace beachfront restaurant whilst enjoying uninterrupted ocean views. For those enjoying the day lounging at the beachfront pool, one of the three pools at the resort, The Deck poolside bar offers a selection of cocktails and small bites.

The Chaba Spa, blends ancient Thai healing customs with modern wellness practices, with a menu of treatments and therapies to choose from, using only 100% natural products. Treatments include Royal Thai Silk Masks, Thai Herb Purifying Facials, Coconut Body Scrubs and Traditional Thai Massage.

To celebrate its launch is offering a 40% discount when staying four or more consecutive nights (from THB 4,000 per night) including breakfast.

The resort is situated 30 minutes from Samui International Airport and airport transfers are available.
