Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket Appoints Resident Manager

Mr. A.L. Claude Benjamin Perera has been appointed as Resident Manager of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket.

Mr. Perera joined the hotel in March 2014 as Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage. Mr. Perera, a Malaysian national, has a wealth of industry experience, having worked in the hotel sector for over 25 years.

His experience includes time at Hyatt Hotels across the world in the role of Director of Food & Beverage in locations such as Indonesia, Singapore, Russia and Thailand.

Mr. Perera holds an NTC-2 Certificate in Food & Beverage and he speaks fluent English and Bahasa Malay.

In his new position, Mr. Perera’s responsibilities include overseeing and managing the functioning of the resort’s 6 dining outlets as well as the kitchen, the sports & activities department and other areas assigned by the General Manager, Mr. Denis Thouvard.
