Reinhold Johann Appointed GM of Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Tianjin

Reinhold Johann has been appointed as General Manager of Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Tianjin.

The property is scheduled to open later this year. A German hotelier with over 25 years of industry experience spanning Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific, Reinhold joins the group from Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts where he was most recently Area General Manager and Assistant Vice President for Banyan Tree Lang Co and Angsana Lang Co in Vietnam.

Prior to that, Reinhold was instrumental in the openings of Banyan Tree Bali and Banyan Tree Hangzhou where as General Manager, he competently organised the various operations, human resources and marketing functions at each property to achieve robust performance within the respective highly competitive markets.

During his illustrious career, Reinhold has also helmed Banyan Tree, Moevenpick and Iberotel hotels and resorts in Seychelles, Yemen, Kuwait, Egypt, Kenya and Prague.

He started out in the hospitality industry from the Food & Beverage sector, amassing over a decade of solid credentials with leading hotels, cruise liners and restaurants.

Part of a mixed-use development The Esplanade, located along the scenic Haihe River and close to the central business district, Pan Pacific Hotel and Serviced Suites Tianjin will feature 289 guestrooms and 30 serviced suites. Its extensive range of amenities includes an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, business centre, indoor swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre and a selection of meeting and event spaces. Guests can also enjoy direct access to the adjoining retail mall.
