The Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong, has invested more than HK$1.5 million upgrading its internet infrastructure.

The upgrade involves bumping up the internet speed to 200Mbps and installing a high performance router that can support up to ten WiFi enabled electronic devices simultaneously in all its 454 rooms and suites.

This is the hotel’s second largest project after the renovation project this year, which aims to meet the ever-changing needs of travellers.

“Offering internet service might not be that newsy anymore, but with business travellers nowadays increasingly relying on technology to keep up with their workload or stay in touch with their business counterparts while on the road, the need for a super fast and super reliable internet connection with multiple connectivity still poses a challenge for many mid-scale or even some high-end hotels,” said Ms. Anita Chan, the General Manager of Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong. “By upgrading our internet infrastructure, we are proud to say that we are not only committed to consistently deliver a first-class service and accommodation to our guests, we are making their stay a truly productive one by offering a highly efficient workspace within the comfort of our rooms.”

Every guest room is also equipped with a high performance multiservice dual-band wireless router which can support up to ten devices simultaneously. And the great news is - no extra charge for the additional devices connecting to the internet within the same room and absolutely no limits on internet download.
