Boathouse on Kata Beach Phuket Rebrands

The popular Boathouse on Kata Beach, Phuket has rebranded as the Boathouse by Montara.

Apart from the Boathouse Wine & Grill restaurant and its award-winning wine cellar, which continues to delight connoisseurs of fine dining, the new owner, Montara Hospitality Group, has refreshed and revitalised the 25-year-old resort.

“With the rebranding, guests are reassured of not only the continuation of the resort’s international-standard, premium accommodation, superb services and “private” beach area on Kata Beach, but also an encompassing lifestyle experience all under one umbrella. We like to think that the resort now has a personality of a 25-year-young person so it is vivacious, versatile and exciting,” said Mr. Bill Black, President of Montara Hospitality Group.

To kick start Boathouse’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the management has flown in the acclaimed New York-based all-female French Jazz trio – La Vie en Rose – to provide guests with both a sight and sound feast at Boathouse Wine & Grill six days a week until 14 March 2014.

“Boathouse by Montara is more than just a place to wine and dine, we aim to position it as a lively evening out venue where guests can unwind and enjoy entertainment with friends, business colleagues and family,” said Marie-Laure Fleury, the resort’s General Manager. “The new concept is that the music and fun ambiance never stops here!”

Boathouse Wine & Grill, offering over 800 unique labels from 17 New and Old World winemaking countries, has been a recipient of the prestigious Wine Spectator’s Best Awards of Excellence since 2006. Other recent accolades comprise Thailand Wine List of the Year 2013’s “Best Cellar Selection”; and TripAdvisor’s top five Travelers’ Favourite Fine Dining Restaurants in Thailand.

On the accommodation front, Boathouse by Montara is offering 25th anniversary promotional rates for guests reserving 5 nights or more in any type of suite from now until 30 April 2014 (except during 13 – 27 April 2014). Starting from THB 13,524 per room per night for a family sea view suite, the promotional rates include lunch for two at the Boathouse Wine & Grill; dinner for two at RE KÁ TA’s gourmet beachfront restaurant; one-hour oil or Thai massage for two; a bottle of wine upon arrival; and round trip airport transfers.
