Plaza Premium Lounge Management has opened a new lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 2 – The Queen’s Terminal, following the company's inaugural launch in Terminal 2 Departures in summer 2014.

Passengers who arrive in the morning can check themselves in for breakfast, have a massage, use shower rooms and prepare for their onward journey, while passengers travelling in groups can make Plaza Premium Lounge (Arrivals) their meeting point.

Departing passengers can arrive early and enjoy the bar, food menu and Wellness Spa with individual treatment rooms offering organic massage treatments by British spa brand, ila.

Stephen Wilkinson, Heathrow’s Property Director, said, “Plaza Premium Lounge is a fantastic addition to Terminal 2. With the opening of this luxurious new independent lounge in arrivals, travellers will have the opportunity to treat themselves to a first class experience, regardless of their ticket type.”

Access to Plaza Premium Lounge (Arrivals) costs from £25 per person for one hour and this includes complimentary shower, food, soft drinks and house alcoholic beverages. Showers cost £15 per person. The lounge also offers complimentary Wi-Fi, international newspapers, magazines, televisions and full flight information.

The organic massage treatments have been designed by ila for travellers who are looking to combat travel ailments, awaken their senses and revitalise the body and mind. A selection of 30 and 60-minute treatments will include ila’s signature treatment exclusive to Plaza Premium – ila’s kundalini back massage, as well as, prana vitality full body massage, blissful face facial and its shoulder, scalp and head massage. A 30-minute treatment costs £45 and an hour treatment costs £80.

Following the successful launch of our lounge in the Departures of Terminal 2 – The Queen’s Terminal, we are very excited to be opening our second lounge in the Arrivals of the terminal. This will be followed by our third lounge in Terminal 4 in spring 2015 and there will be more openings to come in Europe. London Heathrow is an incredibly important market for us, particularly as we grow our presence in this part of the world and we look forward to announcing further developments. Our goal is to make every journey better for travellers whether we meet them at the beginning or the end of their trip.”

Plaza Premium now operates in more than 120 locations in 31 international airports throughout the world and has a development pipeline of 50 more lounges by 2015.
