Bangkok Airways to Close Head Office 13-15 January 2014

Because of the threatened occupation/shutdown of the city of Bangkok by anti-government protestors next week, Bangkok Airways has confirmed that its head office, and its ticket office, on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road will be closed during 13 - 15 January 2014.

Reservations can be made as usual via Bangkok Airways' 24-hour Call Center 1771, the airline's website, or at Bangkok Airways Ticket Office on the 6th floor of Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

Airlines are advising their passengers departing Bangkok next week to leave for Suvarnabhumi Airport at least four hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. Arriving passengers should also expect delays getting into the city.

Bangkok Airways currently has a fleet that comprises of 8 ATR 72-500s, 10 Airbus 319s, and 7 Airbus 320s; each aircraft decorated in different liveries of various exotic destinations.

The airline operates domestic flights within Thailand as well as some regional flights. All Bangkok flights operate in and out of Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
