V Happy Valley, located at 68 Sing Woo Road, has reopened its doors following an extensive HK$30 million renovation.

Recognising a greater demand for 2-bedroom apartments in the Happy Valley area, V Group closed the property in June 2012 to undergo a full-scale renovation to reconfigure its layout and further modernise its interior design.

“Benefiting from a fantastic location in the heart of the village, V Happy Valley will continue to attract local residents and expatriates. The redesign will also allow us to cater to a wider spectrum of guests which was the key driver in embarking on this bold project,” said Ms Vivien Chan, BBS JP, Founder & Chairman of the V Group of companies.

Originally comprising of four 2-bedroom apartments among 48 units largely made up of studios, V Happy Valley now features 35 dream two-bedroom and 13 magic two-bedroom apartments spanning 24 floors. Two of the 2-bedroom apartments also benefit from a terraced garden with outdoor dining area.

“As our first property, V Happy Valley has set the tone for the V brand and guests will continue to enjoy the high standard that they expect from V with an emphasis on functional elegance,” Ms Chan continued.

The apartments have now been cleverly redesigned to fully maximise the space and create more privacy, better accommodating the needs of guests whether it be a small family or a young professional. The size of each apartment ranges from 488 to 615 square feet at a rate from HK$26,800 to HK$36,800 per month.

The magic two bedroom apartments now comprise one double bedroom catering to young professional individuals or couples leading onto a 2nd bedroom which can also be used as a partitioned closet and study room.

The other 2-bedroom units accommodate a double and a single bedroom to cater to young families. Both units additionally have a double tatami in the lounge area which can be used as a sofa – in a sitting position and a leaning back position or as an extra guest-bed.

Each unit offers more integrated concealed storage and have a fully-equipped kitchenette, entertainment system including flat screen TV in the living room and master bedrooms with cable TV connected with international channels; DVD player and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the apartments.

V Happy Valley benefits from special facilities such as weekday daily cleaning service, complimentary toiletries, duck down pillows, and a full DVD library and Wii consoles for its residents’ enjoyment. V also provides a complimentary mini Octopus card at check-in with pre-loaded value for residents. The property also has four car parking spaces which can be leased by guests.
