Pegasus Solutions Appoints New CIO

Pegasus Solutions has appointed Bill Rose as Chief Information Officer.

The company’s former senior vice president of IT Global Services was appointed to the position by chief executive officer David Millili to help Pegasus’ nearly 100,000 global hotel clients focus on the future.

“Bill has proven himself as both a capable leader and a forward-thinking IT professional,” said Millili. “Helping hotels maneuver The World of Distribution extends beyond overcomplicated technology strategy and jargon. Instead, Bill has consistently concentrated on creating the most use out of technology for our hotel clients – from onboarding and ongoing support to continuous development and improvement.”

Rose joined Pegasus in 2010 with more than 25 years of technical IT experience. As senior vice president of IT Global Services, he has overseen enterprise architecture and quality assurance, product management, infrastructure and operations, and reservation systems development.

Prior to Pegasus, Rose served as vice president at Avnet, Inc. He also spent a total of 20 years working within the global Coca-Cola business system in various positions, ultimately managing all global custom development for Coca-Cola Enterprises.

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Virginia at Wise, and completed the Information Technology Management Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Rose is based in Pegasus’ Scottsdale, Ariz. office.
