Rosewood Signs Two Brand New Hotels in Indonesia

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed by Jakarta-based Ciputra Group to manage Rosewood Tanah Lot Bali and Rosewood Jakarta, both scheduled to open 2017.

The two new properties further support Rosewood's Asia expansion plans, joining Rosewood Beijing opening Autumn 2013 and Rosewood Phuket opening end-2014.

Rosewood Tanah Lot Bali will be located on 30 acres (12 hectares), near the world famous Tanah Lot temple on Bali's west coast. The property will feature 80 suites, 40 villas and 20 Rosewood Residences for sale.

Singapore-based architect WATG's design will showcase the location's surrounding paddy fields, black sand beach and striking coastline views. Hong Kong-based Andre Fu of AFSO will design the hotel and residence interiors, including five dining options.

As part of the dynamic Ciputra World Jakarta mixed-use development in the capital city, Rosewood Jakarta will be situated in the heart of the central business district, adjacent to the Satrio Corridor, which connects both East and West suburbs to the area.

The Rosewood Jakarta will offer 200 hotel guestrooms and 160 Rosewood Residences for sale. The designs of Hong Kong-based architect Benoy will celebrate the capital's vibrant and energetic pulse within this luxury city hotel.

Each property will include signature features of Rosewood Asia hotels: The Pavilion - residential-style space for meetings, weddings and upscale functions, and Sense spa, with an environment and treatments reflecting the host culture of its location.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has three properties opening this year -- Rosewood Abu Dhabi (May), Rosewood London (October) and Rosewood Beijing (Autumn) -- in addition to Rosewood Phuket (2014), Rosewood Dubai (2014), Rosewood at Baha Mar (2015), Rosewood Tanah Lot Bali (2017) and Rosewood Jakarta (2017).
