Plaza Premium is to open a new flagship lounge at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

Located near Gate 60 in the West Hall area, the new lounge, scheduled to open in September 2013, is destined to be one of the largest Airport Pay-in Lounges in the region.

This latest facility will feature a new food concept, new interactive services and all new value-added facilities aimed to maximise the comfort and convenience of travellers going through HKIA.

Hong Kong will be the first to launch the new-look lounge followed by other airport locations.

“Since Plaza Premium Lounge opened the world’s first Airport Pay-in Lounge 15 years ago, we have expanded to a global network of over 100 locations in 26 international airports. We continue our mission to enhance the airport experience for all travellers and work together with our partner airports to improve their airport service quality,” said Mr Song Hoi See, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited. “This is a very exciting year for us. When we first launched 15 years ago, we introduced airport lounge facilities open to all travellers, and for travellers who fly first and business class we redefined the airport experience by introducing new services and pushing the boundaries of airport lounges. Opening a new chapter, we will continue to set new standards by raising the bar of facilities and services at the airport. Travelling has now become a pleasure, with no pressure.”
