Campus Travel Appoints New Melbourne-Based DOS

Australian academic travel management specialist Campus Travel has appointed Jamison Warren as Director of Sales.

Jamison joins Campus Travel with more than 23 years of sales experience and more than 10 years experience in the travel industry.

Based out of Campus Travels Melbourne office, Jamison started in the role of Sales Director on Monday (3 June) and will oversee the future growth and direction of Campus Travels national sales division.

Working closely with Campus Travels national operations team and reporting into General Manager Lorraine Donnan, Jamisons focus will be on strengthening the companys global sales platform to increase consistency and marketshare.

Jamison joins Campus Travel following four years as Director of Global Sales Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group Asia Pacific, where he managed sales for 1,300 global hotels. During his time at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Jamison doubled sales revenue and established the companys highly successfully global sales office.

Throughout his career Jamison has held senior management roles in sales, marketing and project management with various high-profile companies including Campus Travels parent company Flight Centre Limited (FCL).

During his time with FCL, Jamison fulfilled the role of Marketing Manager Australia and New Zealand for FCLs corporate travel brands including Campus Travel. He brings to his role in-depth knowledge of Campus Travel and its academic client portfolio.

I know Campus Travel extremely well having managed the brands marketing activities for almost three years, Jamison said. I understand the unique needs of the academic sector, our travellers and will be looking to leverage Campus Travels advanced technology platforms, online capabilities and experienced teams to gain more market traction.
