Inaugural Fijian Tourism Expo to Take Place 6-8 May 2014

The inaugural Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE) will be held at the Sheraton Convention Centre on Denarau Island between 6-8 May 2014.

“FTE is receiving great support from both the Fijian tourism industry and offshore travel sellers, who are incredibly enthusiastic about a show designed specifically for the Fijian industry,” said Tourism Fiji CEO, Rick Hamilton.

In conjunction with the Expo for tourism operators, Fijian Tourism Expo will allow the wider industry to showcase their products and services.

Fijian Tourism Expo is inviting makers of Fijian products, craft, food and beverages, as well as suppliers to the tourism industry, to exhibit at the show to expose their wares to the large international buyer network and media audience.

Fijian Tourism Expo will also feature live performances from local musicians, cultural groups and artists throughout the three day schedule, which includes post-expo networking events and dinners.

“This is a milestone day for us,” Mr Hamilton said. “We are presenting specifics of our event to the industry and this will allow exhibitors, buyers and media to plan their attendance at Fijian Tourism Expo with confidence that this will be a stand-out event for our Fijian tourism industry.”
