Banyan Tree has opened its eighth Angsana Spa, the Angsana Spa Tengchong • Hot Spring Village in Tengchong, Yunnan.

The Spa resides within the resort of new Angsana Tengchong • Hot Spring Village which is nestled in a valley in the western edge of Yunnan province.

It is close to breathtaking natural attractions in the neighbouring Tengchong Wetland Nature Reserve and blessed with perfect sub-tropical highland climate.

Open to both resort guests and the public daily, the spa will pamper leisure travellers with a world-class hot spring destination experience, featuring all-natural geothermal pools and a variety of rejuvenation services.

Created with total rejuvenation in mind, the hot spring destination features a dedicated three-storey Hot Spring Centre with a lush Outdoor Hot Spring Area spreading over 17,000 square metres. It boasts 43 signature mineral-based outdoor hot spring pools with different themes.

For utter bliss, guests can indulge in the warm comforts of volcanic hot stone loungers to drive away aching muscle strains and relax the body.

Angsana Spa offers a fine selection of Asian-inspired therapies which places special emphasis on the use of natural ingredients such as native flowers and fruits. Treatments are based on aromatherapy and highlight a fusion of wellness techniques from East and West.
