AirAsia Resumes Bali-Darwin Flights

AirAsia has resumed flights between Darwin and Bali with four weekly services.

Flights depart from Darwin to Bali on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 19:30 arriving at 20:40 with a total flight time of two hours and 35 minutes.

The route will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with a seating capacity of 180.

“Today is an exciting day for AirAsia and Darwin and we’re pleased to again provide Territorians with more competitive fares and choice when it comes to their favourite holiday destination,” said AirAsia Indonesia CEO, Dharmadi. “We’ll continue to work closely with Northern Territory government, Darwin Airport and the tourism industry to ensure this route is a success. Our goal is to provide everyone from families to the growing FIFO market with affordable fares and numerous, convenient schedules.”

Northern Territory Airports Director Airline and Airport Services Jim Parashos added, “We’re thrilled to have AirAsia back in Darwin. Not only does this open up great travel options for Territorians with connections across an established network, the news will also be welcomed by the broader Northern Australian community who can connect to Darwin from Karratha, Port Hedland, Broome, Kununurra, Mount Isa and Townsville and take advantage of low cost fares to Bali.”
