Dusit Appoints RDOSM - MEA

Dusit International has appointed Mr. Sameh Shawkat to the position of Regional Director of Sales and Marketing - Middle East and Africa, based in the Dubai MEA Regional office.

Mr. Shawkat will focus on building and fostering relationships with key clients and partners and strengthening the Dusit brand in the region.

Furthermore, he will play a pivotal role in driving the properties performance and work alongside the Development team as Dusit continues to expand the portfolio in the Middle East and Africa.

An Egyptian national, Mr Shawkat has deep experience in the MEA region. He was formerly the Regional Director of Sales for Hilton Hotels (Egypt) where he was responsible for 18 Hilton hotels and resorts followed by a lengthy tenure with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Regional Director of Sales (Middle East) and most recently as Executive Assistant Manager, Sales and Marketing at Grand Hyatt Doha.
