Hertz Confirmed as Title Sponsor of 2013 British MotoGP

Hertz has ben confirmed as the title sponsor for the 2013 British MotoGP the 12th leg of the worlds premier motorcycle racing championship.

The British edition of the MotoGP World Championship will be held at Englands famous Silverstone race circuit from 30 August to 1 September, with the renewed agreement providing a big boost for the worlds largest general use car rental brand and MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports.

Michel Taride, Group President, Hertz International, said, "The whole team is very excited to play a role in staging the Hertz British Grand Prix again this year. Our ongoing partnership with Dorna Sports and MotoGP provides us an excellent opportunity to associate our fastest, easiest and most valued car rental brand values with the adrenalin fuelled action and excitement of the world-renowned racing event."

The move follows the successful collaboration between Dorna Sports and Hertz, which has been the car and equipment rental supplier for the MotoGP World Championship since 2010, and first took on title sponsorship of the British leg in 2012. Demonstrating the strength of the partnership, the 2013 deal includes an option for an extension to a further year in 2014.

The MotoGP championship is an eighteen-race series visiting thirteen countries across four continents.

The Hertz British Grand Prix edition of the MotoGP will see Britain's Cal Crutchlow, Bradley Smith and Michael Laverty battle it out with the likes of Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa for the much-coveted title.
