FCm Travel Solutions has appointed Charles Brossman as Senior Director - Global Travel Risk Management.

Charles has more than 25 years of combined experience in risk management, corporate travel management, procurement, travel technology and business leadership.

Prior to joining FCm’s global team, Charles held the role of Director of Global Safety and Security Products at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Product Manager at Ariba, where he managed Ariba’s travel and expense solution.

Charles has extensive experience in providing travel management consultancy to global firms and has a proven track record in developing and implementing custom technology solutions and online platforms for companies across various sectors.

Based out of FCm’s office in Seattle, Charles’ role will be focused on further strengthening FCm’s global travel risk management strategies, product and capabilities.

“Work is already underway to enhance FCm’s risk management product and technology platforms so we can approach this aspect of travel management more aggressively and support our clients’ changing duty of care obligations,” Charles said. Duty of care is an ever changing world of different legislations and requirements across companies and countries. Providing effective travel risk management support to corporations is about helping them meet these obligations and mitigate risk whenever possible. Additionally the volume of risk that employers are now exposed to is increasing and while traveller tracking is essential to any travel program, a solid risk management program for corporates now requires a holistic approach to the sourcing and distribution of travel intelligence, online solutions, communication platforms and personal service.”
