Executive Appointments at The Langham, Hong Kong

The Langham, Hong Kong has made the following executive appointments:

Catherine Sum has been appointed as Director of Sales-MICE. With more than 13 years experience in hospitality sales, Catherine has built up an impressive list of accomplishments with luxury hospitality brands in Hong Kong, including Shangri-La Hong Kong, Four Seasons Hong Kong and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Prior to joining The Langham, Catherine was the Director of Business Development-Corporate for Island Shangri-La Hong Kong. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia.

Stella Chan has been appointed as Director of Sales- Leisure. A veteran in hospitality sales, Stella has more than 13 years of solid hotel experience. Stella has held a number of senior positions at sister properties, Langham Place, Mongkok as Director of Sales Corporate and Eaton, Hong Kong as Director of Sales. In her new capacity, Stella will be responsible for exploring new business opportunities, developing potential markets and enhancing relationships with business partners. She completed a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Management in International College of Hospitality Management, Switzerland.

Paul Ng has been appointed as Director of Human Resources. Paul joins The Langham to oversee recruitment, compensation and benefits, employment relations, quality management and employee development. He has over 20 years experience in human resources and was previously the Director of Human Resources for W Hong Kong and Hyatt International Hotels and Resorts. He holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
