Archipelago International is launching yet another hotel brand, Harper Hotels & Resorts.

The first Harper hotel will open in Kuta, Bali as early as this summer while seven more are already in an advanced state of constriction in Bandung, Banjarmasin, Bogor, Makassar, Samarinda, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.

The Harper brand will present 3-star plus and 4-star new build hotels from 100 to 250 rooms in either city or resort locations.

Rooms will be a minimum bay size of 28sqm and a maximum of 40sqm, while suites will be 1.5 bays.

City location Harper Hotels will feature executive floors with club lounges and ladies only rooms while all Harper Hotels will offer the brands proprietary destination restaurant concept “Rustik Bistro & Bar”.

Harper hotel rooms will not have desks. Instead, they will all have sofas and high coffee tables - bigger and higher, so guests can eat and work at the same time while sitting in a sofa.

Standard bathrooms will have showers only while suites will also have a separate bathtub. In an effort to eliminate wasteful bottles, bath amenities will be available in a dispenser format.
