Archipelago Opens First Alana Hotel in Surabaya

Archipelago has opened its first Alana hotel in Surabaya, Indonesia's second largest city and the capital of East Java.

The 162 room Alana Surabaya is near Juanda International Airport and the Rungkut Industrial district.

Facilities include meeting rooms, a coffee shop, lobby lounge, indoor swimming pool, day spa and gym.

“The Alana Surabaya offers bountiful comforts, refreshing design and insightful service interweaved with facilities befitting one of Surabaya’s leading hotels. We are delighted to extend our portfolio in Surabaya where we already offer the immensely popular two-star favehotel MEX and will soon open a five-star Grand Aston and a 3 star Quest Hotel,” said Norbert Vas, Archipelago International’s VP of Sales & Marketing.

Archipelago International also plans to open more Alana hotels in Indonesia. Alana properties are currently under construction in Yogyakarta, Sentul, Solo and Bali.
