Pegasus Solutions Appoints John Kiszla as VP - Demand Account Management

Pegasus Solutions has appointed John Kiszla as vice president, demand account management.

Kiszla brings nearly two decades of hotel leadership to the role in which he will help drive room sales for Pegasus hotel clients by working directly with the demand community. He will also be managing a global team of account managers.

“John has a sophisticated understanding of both business and leisure demand drivers,” said Chris Wichers, chief sales officer for Pegasus Solutions. “He has been a valuable contributor at Open Hospitality, a division of Pegasus, for the last four years. His professional management ability and warm personal style will help drive new initiatives that will better align demand with our clients business needs.”

Most recently, Kiszla served as western regional director of sales for Open Hospitality. Before joining Open Hospitality, Kiszla worked as the director of sales and marketing for IHG’s Los Angeles InterContinental in Century City. He also was director of sales and marketing for Bristol Hotels, an IHG Partner, for four San Francisco properties.

During his tenure with Hilton Hotels Corporation, he served as a regional director of sales and marketing for two Hawaii properties, and held various sales and marketing positions with four Los Angeles properties. He has also been director of sales and marketing for the Pan Pacific San Francisco, Starwood Hotels and Resorts San Francisco Airport, and Hotel Nikko San Francisco.

Kiszla earned a bachelor of arts in motion pictures and television from the University of California, Los Angeles.
