Regent Appoints Arjan de Boer as SVP of Development and Technical Services

Regent Hotels and Resorts has appointed Mr. Arjan de Boer as the newly appointed Senior Vice President of Development and Technical Services.

Mr. de Boer possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from Christelijke Hogeschool in the Netherlands, and has broad experiences in all aspects of resort and hotel development, operations, asset management and technical services garnered in luxury boutique villa resorts and hotels throughout Asia.

Mr. de Boer has joined Regent following nearly 11 years of employment at Alila Hotels and Resorts, where he led and completed multiple projects.

In his role as Vice President of Development, Mr. de Boer was responsible for resort and hotel developments, project sourcing, design development and review, legal agreements, planning, technical services and pre-opening assistance of projects throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

“I am very excited to be joining the Regent team at such an opportune time,” said Mr. de Boer. “Regent has opened beautiful resorts in Bali and Phuket in the last two years, with another one to open along the stunning coast of Montenegro next year, and I am ready to join the team in taking Regent to the next stage of its development. There are already several projects in progress and I look forward to growing Regent’s portfolio of newly built hotels and resorts.”
