Bagan Lodge Appoints Christine Béland as DOSM

Apple Tree Group Hospitality has appointed Christine Béland as director of sales and marketing for Bagan Lodge, a 85-room hotel located on the edge of the destination’s archaeological zone.

Béland most recently worked for two years as the sales and marketing manager of the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa in Siem Reap. Previously, she worked at resorts in the Caribbean.

At Bagan Lodge, Béland joins Australian General Manager Jon Bourbaud as a principal on the debut property’s launch team. She will assume responsibility for the same functions at Sanctum Inle Lake when that property opens in 2014.

A native of Canada, Béland did her undergraduate work in Montreal and earned a degree in business from HEC Montréal. She speaks English and French.
