On 2-3 February 2013, the annual Pick of the Season, GranMonte
Harvest Festival, will take place at the GranMonte Estate,
Vineyard and Winery, in Asoke Valley, Khao Yai, Thailand.
This special weekend is fast becoming a must
attend event on the Thai social calendar, with numerous activities
planned for the Saturday and Sunday, as well as a gourmet dinner
with free flow of wine, and some of the best food you will find in
the country.
Steven Howard, of ASIA Travel Tips travelled to
this beautiful area of Thailand, just 2/3 hours from Bangkok, and
spoke with the extremely talented Nikki Lohitnavy, one of the very top oenologists in South East Asia,
and the head oenologist at GranMonte.
In
this exclusive HD video interview you will discover how this
year's Harvest Festival differs from previous years, what the
theme is this year, what costs
are involved, whether you can bring pets, what the dinner is all
about (and whether any space is left) and much,
much more.
Even if you do not make it to the 2013 Harvest
Festival,
Khao Yai is a magical place. The GranMonte Estate is not just a
vineyard and winery, there is also a lovely
7-room Guest House
which is perfect for those that enjoy nature, don't demand
room service yet are prepared to be blown away by the quality of
the food served at VinCotto - GranMonte's restaurant. It is the
ideal no fuss retreat.
