Gianna Rivera Joins Pegasus Solutions as Global Director of Distribution Sales

Pegasus Solutions has appointed Ms. Gianna Rivera as Global Director of Distribution Sales.

Rivera, an established hospitality professional with an expert understanding of technology, will support the growth of Pegasus’ distribution services, currently used by nearly 100,000 hotels globally.

Most recently, Rivera served as senior consultant for Travel Technology Consulting, where she specialized in providing technology and operations consulting services to the hospitality industry. She also spent four years at Accor North America, first as senior director of sales and distribution, and eventually as deputy vice president of international global sales. Prior to Accor, Rivera was vice president of electronic distribution development for Vantage Hospitality.

“Gianna brings a warm and relatable sales style backed by a true understanding of hospitality technology – both how it works, and how to integrate it to improve the bottom line,” said John Owens, senior vice president, distribution sales for Pegasus Solutions. “She’s worked within the hotel and corporate settings and as a distribution consultant, which will make her a truly helpful resource to our clients seeking purposeful answers and solutions.”

Rivera graduated from the New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, RI with a degree in computer science. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
