EddéSands Hotel & Wellness Resort has appointed Nadim el Chakhtoura as Director of Operations.

With over 17 years experience in the hospitality industry Mr. El Chakhtoura, who holds a degree in Hotel Management & Tourism and a Masters in Food, Beverage & Convention Management from Switzerland, steps into his challenging new role following his previous position as Managing Partner to Marion Sal.

Nadim has worked in several key hotels in Lebanon such as Le Royal and the Gefinor Rotana before joining the resort industry with EddéSands in 2005 as Director of Food & Beverage. His last appointment prior to joining EddéSands was General Manager of the U Bay Club & Restaurants.

EddéSands Hotel and Wellness Resort has greatly contributed to Byblos becoming a major tourist destination so that today, it ranks among the most renowned attractions of the Eastern Mediterranean.

Designed and landscaped on a sprawling 110,000sqm piece of prime seafront land with an exceptional setting at the foot of the Byblos citadel; the resort was constructed using local sandstone to conserve and showcase the area’s historic surroundings.

Even the décor of the rooms has relied on local crafts to give an authentic Lebanese flavor. Surrounded by palm trees and lush tropical gardens, EddéSands offers its guests: 8 beachfront bungalows with roof-top terraces, 3 blue suites by the VIP pool, 9 deluxe poolside rooms, 10 Cabanas, a 28-room hotel, 4 large swimming pools, 15 restaurants, a Ballroom to seat 650, a beach bar, fine boutiques and an indoor heated pool & Tropical Spa.
