Jet Airways to Launch Kochi and Chennai to Dammam

Effective 15 January 2014, India’s Jet Airways will introduce two daily flights from Kochi and Chennai to Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

While the Chennai flight will be operated via Abu Dhabi to Dammam, the Kochi Dammam service will be a daily direct flight.

Jet Airways flight 9W 570 will depart Kochi at 06:20 and arrive in Dammam at 09:20 (local time). The return flight 9W 569 will depart Dammam at 10:20 and arrive in Chennai at 17:20.

Furthermore, Jet Airways offers its guests from Kochi an evening option to Dammam via Abu Dhabi. 9W 576 Kochi to Abu Dhabi will be rescheduled to depart Kochi at 20:40 and arrive into Abu Dhabi at 23:30, which in turn connects to 9W526 Abu Dhabi Dammam.

From Chennai the daily flight 9W 526 will depart at 20:15 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 23:25. The flight will then depart at 01:45 and arrive in Dammam at 02:10. On the return leg, 9W 525 will depart Dammam at 06:50 and arrive at Abu Dhabi at 09:15. The flight then departs Abu Dhabi at 10:45 to arrive at Chennai at 16:15.

Gaurang Shetty, Senior Vice-President, Commercial, Jet Airways said, “We are confident that the additional services from Kochi and Chennai to Dammam will prove immensely popular with our guests. Introduction of these flights is an important landmark in the evolution and emergence of the airline as India’s premier international airline, as we will now operate over 118 daily flights to key international destinations.”

The airline will deploy a Boeing 737-800 aircraft on these two new services.
