Krabi is a popular destination for both Thai and foreign tourists. While the Bangkok-Krabi flight has had its frequency increased several times, it has still yet to match demand. In this most recent enhancement, the flight frequency will be increased to 8 flights a day starting 25 November 2013.

“We believe that connecting Krabi to a variety of other destinations will provide travelers with more convenience and will thus be introducing Krabi-Chiang Mai this 15 December 2013,” said Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia.

AirAsia is offering a special promotion available for booking until 27 October 2013 with fares starting at 690 THB (inclusive of airport tax and fees) for travel from Krabi to Chiang Mai between 15 December 2013 and 5 August, 2014. Terms and conditions apply.

The additions will make AirAsia the airline with the most flights to Krabi; flying from Bangkok 8 times daily, Chiang Mai once daily, Singapore once daily and Kuala Lumpur twice daily.
