Tune Hotels Opening Fifth Philippines Property

Tune Hotels will open its fifth hotel in the Philippines on 19 July 2013, in Cagayan De Oro. The 159 room Tune Hotel Cagayan De Oro is situated in the Lapasan Central Business District. It is the first Tune Hotel in the Philippines to have a function room catering for up to 30 people, while there will also be a breakfast restaurant.

Tune Hotel Cagayan De Oro is the first of four hotels the group aims to open in the Philippines this year, the other three being in Quezon City (140 rooms), Ortigas (182 rooms) and Davao (155 rooms). These will join existing properties in Angeles City (165 rooms), Cebu (150 rooms), Ermita and Makati.

The Tune Hotels brand is owned and operated by Red Planet Hotels in the Philippines and Chief Executive Officer, Tim Hansing, said there will further openings of Tune Hotels in the Philippines in the coming years where he has a target for a minimum of 15 properties for the country.
