Indigo Pearl Resort in Phuket Appoints New GM

Christopher Oakes has been appointed as the new General Manager for Indigo Pearl resort in Phuket, Thailand.

Chris joins Indigo Pearl with an impressive background in luxury hospitality and resort management as well as extensive international experience in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Thailand and the Maldives.

His last assignment was as Managing Director of Petchey Leisure, one of Europe’s leading leisure groups with resorts in Spain & Portugal, where he was responsible for the repositioning and growth of the company.

Prior to that, Chris worked at Six Senses Resorts and Spas from 2004 to 2012 in various capacities, most recently as Chief Concept Officer for the Thai resorts and spas as well as the pre-opening of Six Senses Laamu, Maldives.
