Starwood Bali Resorts Collection Appoints New DOSM and DMM

Starwood Bali Resorts Collection has appointed Lillian Tan as Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing and Marlieke Janssen as the Cluster Digital Marketing Manager for the newly opened Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort and Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran.

Lillian will also oversee the opening of two new Starwood properties in the coming years – The Westin Ubud Resort & Spa and The Sarasvati, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa.

Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing – Lillian Tan

Malaysia born hotelier with more than 18 years of experience, Lillian started her career with Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur before starting her journey with Starwood Hotels & Resorts with The Westin Kuala Lumpur and her venture overseas in Thailand followed by an extensive track in Beijing.

“Indonesia is one of the key important and strategic countries for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, with Bali becoming one of the key global destinations. With six of Starwood signature brands present on the island and more on the way, we are set on our journey to becoming one of the world’s global leader in hospitality,” said Lillian.

In her leisure time, Lillian enjoys swimming and reading a good book. Lillian is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa Malaysia.

Cluster Digital Marketing Manager – Marlieke Janssen

Dutch born, Marlieke grew the early stages of her career at Carlton Beach Hotel in Scheveningen, in which she later on returns to embark on her career in reservations, revenue and sales & marketing. In 2012, she arrived in Jakarta to start her new adventure with The Media Hotel & Towers as the Online Marketing Manager.

To relax, Marlieke indulges in traveling, reading, exploring new cultures and enjoying a drink and a good dinner with friends. To stay fit she likes running.

Marlieke is fluent in Dutch, English and German, as well as starting to pick up on some Bahasa Indonesia.
