M23 Event Space Opens Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld

[HD video below] The newly opened M23 event space at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld has been designed as an intimate setting for parties and receptions, and with its own integral show kitchen guests can order food directly from the chefs and watch it being prepared while sipping on a cocktail or two.

Covering more than 1,000 square metres, the space is divided into four natural day-lit function rooms offering dramatic views of the city skyline, and with capacity ranging from 18 to 50 guests.

Along with its event facilities, M23, on the 23rd floor of the hotel, has its own reception area, open show kitchen and bar that caters for coffee breaks, luncheons and social events, and a 50-metre long open-air patio for cocktails and gatherings high above the city streets.

“M23 is a new and exciting style of events space in Bangkok,” said Chris Bailey, senior vice president for sales and marketing at Centara Hotels & Resorts. “This is perfect for smaller events such as private parties and receptions, where guests can order and enjoy their food from the open kitchen, and where we have everything needed for professional or fun presentations. Plus of course the views of Bangkok from the 23rd floor are magnificent.”

The four events rooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual capability, each being equipped with built-in LCD projectors and screens, high-speed Wi-Fi internet access, personalised stationery, coffee machine, and stocked with a selection of soft drinks, still and sparkling mineral water and tasty lozenges. Rooms M1 and M2 also have interactive screens.

The remaining area is divided into four exclusive spaces. My Foyer is a reception area with a modern interior design and plush seating. Dedicated to freshly prepared food and beverages, My Kitchen is an open show kitchen and bar that can cater to tea breaks, luncheons and social events. Adjoining it is the alfresco My Terrace with views of the bustling city below and is perfect for cocktails or a standing buffet. My Lawn is a 50-metre long open-air patio with a putting green that adds a casual fun element to this corporate retreat and is ideal for sunset cocktails, dinners, or BBQ.

With 505 rooms and suites, the hotel encompasses nine executive floors, including one World Executive Club floor, and nine food and beverage outlets that includes RedSky, a spectacular and very popular outdoor rooftop venue.
