The Lido Group’s Australian Accommodation Data Exchange (AADX) regional accommodation content is now available to Amadeus travel agents for the first time.

Amadeus travel agents can access new hotel content through all Amadeus powered channels – travel agency websites, corporate booking tools and Amadeus Selling Platform under the ‘AA’ chain code.

This means vastly improved productivity gains by automating bookings that previously needed to be made by phone or email, as well as providing full integration into the PNR (Passenger Name Record) and mid-office systems.

51 new properties from across Australia can be booked, from as far as Toowoomba in Queensland to Port Lincoln in South Australia. Additionally, 40+ properties from the Golden Chain Motel and Mainstay Hotel brands in New Zealand will be added in coming months.

Steve Mackenzie, Managing Director, The Lido Group, said, “Our partnership with Amadeus is crucial to ensure our leading hotel content is accessible to travel agencies around the world. Travel agents today need hotel booking automation to boost productivity, which is why we are committed to delivering content that is most relevant for them and their customers.”
