InterVistas Appoints William S. “Bill” Swelbar as Executive Vice President

InterVistas Consulting Group has appointed Mr. William “Bill” Swelbar as Executive Vice President.

Bill will officially join InterVistas on 16 December 2013 and will be tasked with heading the Washington DC office.

Deborah Meehan, InterVistas President and CEO, said, “William Swelbar is one of the aviation industry’s most highly-regarded economic analysts demonstrating a long track record in identifying industry trends in their formative stages and forecasting the consequences. We are continually working to put the best team in place to tackle the many issues that a changing industry will present and Bill is another piece of the puzzle for us.”

Bill has represented airlines, airports, investment banks, investors, manufacturers, and labor groups in a variety of advocacy and non-advocacy assignments.

His specialties include labor cost profiling, regulatory analysis, competitive assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and other communication, economic and financial advisory services in support of strategic planning, corporate communications and negotiations.

Bill is also a much sought-after speaker and has provided expert witness testimony before various tribunals and before the United States Congress regarding the economics of commercial air transport.

Bill will continue in his research role at MIT’s International Center for Air Transportation as well as keeping his seat on Hawaiian Holdings Inc. board of directors.
