Date Set for Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014

The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014 will take place on Sunday, 16 February 2014, with the theme "Run for a Reason".

Information about the race, and the registration procedure, is expected to be announced in mid-September 2013.

The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, organized by the HKAAA, is one of Hong Kong's largest participatory annual sporting events.

In 2013, Julius Maisei and Misiker Demissie won the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon.

With first title sponsorship in 1997, Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) will celebrate its 18th year as title sponsor with the 2014 event.

Standard Chartered also sponsors marathons in 8 other cities globally including Singapore, Mumbai, Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Dubai, Stanley (Falkland Islands) and Jersey.
