Kerzner Appoints Ivy Kwan as Vice President of Sales & Marketing – Asia Pacific

Kerzner International has appointed Ivy Kwan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing – Asia Pacific.

In this role, Ms. Kwan will drive the One&Only brand in Asia Pacific, as well as outbound sales for the Kerzner group.

Ivy will be instrumental in the success of our growth in this region.”

Ivy joins with twenty years of experience in luxury hotels in Asia, and over a decade specifically focusing on the Chinese market. 

After earning her Diploma in Hotel Management from Les Roches, Switzerland, Ivy began her career at Shangri-La International Hotel Management in Malaysia where she grew from Management Trainee to Director in eight years.

Her strong leadership abilities and focused outlook propelled her to join the pre-opening team as Director of Sales at The Westin in Shanghai where she was responsible for establishing the Sales & Marketing department.

Ivy then joined The Ritz-Carlton where she would stay for a decade until joining One&Only Resorts.

As Director of Sales & Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Ivy was managing a team of 34 in Sales, Catering, Reservations, Public Relations, Marketing and Revenue Management tasked to contribute to the success of Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong as it stands to date.

Ivy was also part of the pre-opening team where she worked in tandem with key stakeholders to develop aggressive positioning strategies. At the Ritz-Carlton Global Leadership Conference in 2012, she was awarded Director of Sales & Marketing, Leader of the Year, Asia Pacific.

One&Only in Asia

Two One&Only Resorts are currently in development in the region - the Hayman Island resort will be reflagged as One&Only Hayman Island resort in 2014, and One&Only Sanya in Hainan is currently in development. In addition, Kerzner has unveiled plans to develop Atlantis, Sanya Hainan in China.
