Dusit Signs D2 Hotel in Shaoxing, China

Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts has signed a management contract for a a new hotel project in China.

The dusitD2 Shaoxing hotel is owned and being developed by Zhejiang Guannan Property Development Co., Ltd.

Scheduled for a soft opening in the fourth quarter of 2014, dusitD2 Shaoxing is located in the prime commercial centre of Shaoxing, Zhejiang province.

Shaoxing is located on the South bank of the Qiantang River estuary with numerous canals and waterways, giving it a classic Jiangnan style scenery.

Comprising 280 guestrooms at 48 sqm each and 20 suites including a Presidential Suite, dusitD2 Shaoxing will offer guests an array of restaurants as well as Dusit’s own signature Devarana Spa.

dusitD2 Shaoxing is being developed with the rapidly growing Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) market in mind. The hotel will offer a conference centre with a variety of function rooms, including a 600 sqm ballroom that can accommodate all types of events, conferences, exhibitions or social functions for up to 700 guests.
