Thomas Barguil Joins Anantara Hua Hin as GM

[HD video below] The Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa has appointed Thomas Barguil as General Manager.

A French national, Thomas Barguil has worked in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years, starting his career at the InterContinental in Cannes working in both F&B and Rooms.

Specialising in F&B, Thomas has worked his way up through the ranks at hotels across the globe, including Egypt, Morocco, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mauritius.

In Thailand, his background includes roles at Novotel Bangkok Siam Square, Le Meridien Phuket and The Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa.

Prior to his appointment at Anantara Hua Hin, Thomas was the General Manager of The Residence Maldives, where he had the exciting opportunity to oversee the resorts pre-opening and opening stages.

Thomas has returned to Thailand committed to taking up his new position with his guest-focused management style. He will be be looking after operations for the 187-room luxury resort, which is designed in the style of an ancient Thai village, right beside the beach.

"My family and I are delighted to be back in Thailand, which I regard as my second home, and it is an honour for me to take on the role of General Manager of this beautiful resort. Anantara is passionate about guests leaving with an amazing story and I look forward to being part of the team, delivering an amazing experience to every guest," he said.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Hotel Management Degree from Griffith University in Australia. He is married and has two daughters. Besides his mother tongue French, he speaks English and Thai.
