FCS Computer Systems, an hospitality solutions provider, recently appointed senior technology industry executive Steven Weeks as its new CEO. Weeks is based out of FCS’ Singapore office.

Weeks’ previous leadership responsibilities have spanned Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Past positions have included significant posts at Fortune 500 companies, with roles at country, regional and international levels in the capacities of vice president of sales, chief operating officer and managing director. This experience has given him extensive knowledge and expertise in both enterprise and service provider segments.

Weeks has lived in the Asia Pacific region for more than 15 years, including Australia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia and China. He previously lived and worked in the United Kingdom, with management and operational control for organizations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

“I intend to build on the excellent service culture and the extensive suite of technologies already in place at FCS, working closely with the other business units of the PlanetOne Group to ultimately establish the company as a one-stop shop for hospitality solutions globally,” Weeks said. “We aim to enter additional adjacent markets where our solutions naturally can transcend. We will continue to open up new sales offices across the world to help FCS increase its reach, expanding our distribution and reseller channels. We will strive to ensure that hotels in every region and ratings segment have access to the best hospitality software on the market and also our newly selected market adjacencies will enjoy the full use of our solutions as well.”
