Air China has implemented three additional advanced technology solutions from the Amadeus e-Commerce portfolio to help drive its growth and sales in international markets.

The Amadeus Mobile Solution and German Rail Booking will give Air China a competitive edge in the growing online marketplace, help access new sales opportunities and deliver enhanced service to its customers.

Recognising the growing significance of mobile in the travel life cycle, Air China has implemented Amadeus Mobile Solutions to allow customers to more easily make bookings, and keep updated with flight information, all while on the move.

Additionally, with the Amadeus German Rail Booking solution, Air China customers can now book a combined German Rail and Flight itinerary through one consolidated platform, removing the need to make multiple travel bookings. Air China is the first airline in Asia Pacific to implement the Amadeus German Rail Booking solution.

John Chapman, Vice President, Airline Group, Amadeus Asia Pacific said, “Asia Pacific and China in particular, are among the fastest growing travel markets in the world. Air China is playing a leading role with significant expansion of its international business. Amadeus is delighted to expand our existing e-commerce business with Air China into these exciting new areas and to help them take advantage of the latest technology available to enhance their offer.”

Air China is a member of Star Alliance.
