Regal Signs New Hotel in Yantai, Shandong

Regal Hotels International has signed a 5-star hotel project in Yantai of Shandong province, China, with the Furao Group.

The Regal Furao Hotel, Yantai is scheduled to open in Q3 2015.

The hotel will be located at the heart of the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Area along the main street of Changjiang Road.

The new 36,000 sqm 300-room Regal hotel will be an integral part of the Furao Times Square, a multi-complex comprising the hotel, a commercial and financial centre, a shopping arcade and residential apartments.

Ms. Belinda Yeung, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Regal Hotels International, said, “We are honored and excited in collaborating with Furao Group. The new Regal hotel will be another 5-star addition of the Regal Group in Shandong province after Regal Kangbo Hotel. With our experience and success of the Regal Kangbo Hotel, we believe that Regal Furao Hotel will be another proud property for our discerning customers.”

Currently, Regal Hotels manages and operates 6 hotels in Hong Kong and 7 hotels in China Mainland.

Together with the hotels under development in cities in China, including Chengdu, Foshan, Kunshan, Suzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Zhengzhou and this hotel in Yantai, Regal Hotels has over 8,000 rooms and around 100 restaurants and bars under its portfolio.
