Thailand-based Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Complete Travel Marketing as its new regional sales representative for Australia and New Zealand. The company is based in North Sydney, Australia.

“We are very pleased indeed to be appointing Complete Travel Marketing to act for us in these two markets, which are of increasing importance to us,” said Chris Bailey, senior vice president for sales and marketing at Centara Hotels & Resorts. “The company's senior management personnel represent a total of more than 40 years' experience in the travel and hospitality industry, and enjoy international respect.”

Complete Travel Marketing was founded by Charlie Ridout and Jonathan Milburn. Subsequently he ran the sales and product departments at the world's oldest travel company, implementing new FIT and group programmes to all parts of the globe. Now based in Australia, Charlie has been responsible for procurement and product development across Asia, North America, Fiji and the Pacific Islands.

Jonathan's 20 years' experience in the Australian travel industry across many different roles extends across all facets of the wholesale model from product management to marketing management at both a micro (product) and macro (destination) level. He is also an accomplished presenter after spending many years conducting product training to front line reservations and sales staff.
