IDeaS Launches New Pricing System

IDeaS Revenue Solutions has launched Pricing System (PS), a solution for Asian hotels and groups seeking revenue growth in their budget, economy or midscale properties.

“As major hotel brands raise the bar by deploying simplified revenue management tools for their limited-service properties, other brands and ownership groups of similar properties are finding it tough to compete,” said Brian Sterrett, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, IDeaS. “IDeaS PS, which marries a new level of practicality to IDeaS’ proven pricing science, is an affordable and compelling option for clients facing the new, competitive dynamic in limited-service hospitality markets.”

IDeaS PS enables hotel managers to more accurately forecast occupancy, quickly set daily room rates, and ultimately make more competitive pricing decisions for their hotels. The system’s simplified approach, intuitive design and powerful functionality minimizes the amount of training and interaction needed to learn and operate the system. In just a few clicks, users can upload pricing decisions to all necessary distribution channels.

“IDeaS PS brings our pricing science to a much broader audience,” Sterrett added. “At the end of the day, our goal is to make revenue management accessible for busy, limited-service hotel managers so they can compete more effectively.”

IDeaS is now offering the IDeaS Pricing System in controlled release for a limited number of charter clients and plans to make the system available in the second half of 2012.
