AirAsia Launches ‘Last Minute Deals’ Promotion

AirAsia has launched a last minute travel promotion with its ‘Last Minute Deals’ offering all-in-fares from as low as RM20 one way for domestic flights, and from RM50 one way for international flights.

The ‘Last Minute Deals’ promotion includes popular destinations such as Penang, Kuching, Kota Bahru, Singapore, Bangkok, Macau, Shenzhen, Bali, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Phnom Penh, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hanoi, Danang and many more.

The promotion is available for booking until 11 March 2012 for travel between 20 March and 12 August 2012.

Guests with the BIG global loyalty card will also be entitled to 8x BIG Points throughout this promotion although the 8x BIG Points is not valid for flights exiting Malaysia and Malaysia domestic flights.

The airline is also increasing the flight frequencies of one international and two domestic routes in its network.

The Kuala Lumpur – Langkawi flights will be operating 66x weekly instead of 63x weekly, while the Singapore – Langkawi flight frequencies will be increased to 7x weekly from 4x weekly. The flight frequency increase for both these routes take effect on 26 May 2012. The Kuala Lumpur – Terengganu route will be increased to 21x weekly from 17x weekly and is effective 27 May 2012.
